Title: Red Spider Spotted
Post by: M&M on June 16, 2006, 04:27:06 AM
*Note written carefully and neatly*  Travelers beware. Myself, Armolas, Nepp, Darkchild and Jareg made a stop in Dalanthar. Taking a small break before pushing onward, when we were attacked by a few dire spiders. Once we disposed of those, another group of spiders followed. I have never seen these type before. Under dark spiders is what the group told me they were. Luckily no one was fatally hurt. Soon after that we saw the red spider crawling over the hill by the bank it walked to the rock wall and climbed away.   Be weary travelers if you see these red spiders. After our group composed ourselves. A drow cleric appeared. Casting it's magic upon us. It's dying words were "This is not the end".

*reads note and scribbles underneith*

Little late in reading this, but tegan is correct. They we're not that powerful underdark spiders, but disturbering all the same. I am ashamed. I dont know why my kind are doing this. I think someone in the underdark is pushing them forward, normally they are not concerned with the surface, content to fight amongst themselves.

*note is penned in neat but forceful hand*

Drow?  Not interested in the surface world?  Since when, precisely?  You, my friend, are best described as an exception.
