No idea which thread I should post this in..

Are all drow supposed to have the darkvision feat? I just noticed my character doesnt have that feat. Was I supposed to choose it myself? I feel like a moron, cause Im level ten drow ranger now..

Also, is it possible to have a half-elf, half giant character? Im just wondering.

you don't see the darkvision on the character sheet (its a property not a feat) and... compounding the problem of knowing that you have it, its a property that doesn't show up on your character sheet.

Rest assured that you do indeed have it, and also rest assured that it doesn't do a whole heck of a lot in the game mechanic anyway :'(

I liked 2ED infravision better.

Edit: You cannot have a half elf/half giant character. Theoretically it would be possible (IC wise) but in the game mechanics the only subrace available is half human half giant. This is the same reason only Human Aasimar and Tieflings are available.

Hopefully in NWN2 subraces will be a lot more flexible and work more properly overall.

  these might help. I also heard somewhere that you actually have to be in complete dark, with no magical light of any kind on, to actually benefit from darkvision. Not sure if this is even right, but I remember reading it here and it was from a reliable source.

This has been brought up at least 20 times before.
