I put an asterix* next to certain CNR items not yet implimented, though most can be done with what we already have
Roasts:
-------
Glazed Ham- 1 pork, 2 honey, 2 maple syrup, 4 salt, maybe an apple for the mouth
Bacon- 1 pork, 2 salt, 1 maple syrup-> yeilds 2 strips/pork... low xp product (around 50% at lvl 2-3) but will likely fiinds dwarves using it profusely! (also needed for bacon bits for soups and btl sammiches!) Perhaps also comes in turkey/fowl
Smoked Pork/Turkey/Beef/Dog/Cat/Orc Sausage- 1 Meat, 4 Pepper, 2 Salt, 1 Hickory Log, 2 Sage. (almost an identical recipe to roasts, but no butter the output yeild -> 3 1-charge items)
Bjorn's Spicy-Hot Wings- 1 piece chicken, wheat flour (for breading the skin), 4 pepper, 2 salt, 1 butter, 1 garlic, 2 alchemists' fire, 1 dust of fire agate. Each chicken has about 2 wings and 2 drums, so output is 4 pieces
Pies:
-----
Meat Pies- 1 piece beef, 1 wheat flour for the crust, 4 pepper, 4 salt, 1 garlic, 2 sage
Chicken Pot Pie- 1 chicken, mixed vegetables*(usually peas, carots, broccolli and potato), corn, 1 bucket water
Soups:
------
Noodles- Wheat Flour, Water, Farmers Press
Egg-Drop Soup- 2 Eggs, 2 Chicken Broth, 4 salt, 2 pepper (no water as is already in the broth)
Chicken Noodle Soup- 4 Noodles, 1 chicken, 4 salt, 2 pepper, 1 bucket water
Beef & Vegetable- 2 ground beef, 4 salt, 4 pepper, mixed veggies* (usually potato w/ some greens), 1 bucket water
Oatmeal w/ raisins- 2 Oatmeals, 4 raisins, 2 sugar, 1 bucket water (and perhaps an apple/cinnamon variant and another for maple syrup instead of the raisins if we have them)
Chicken/Beef/Dog/Cat Broths- 1 piece meat, 4 salt, 4 pepper, 1 bucket Water... the most basic soup to make, also can be used to make gravy (oooh , mashed taters..)
Grilled Chicken & Sausage Gumbo- 2 Smoked Beef Sausages, 1 piece chicken, 1 bucket water, 2 salt, 4 pepper, 1 garlic
Beef & Barley- 4 barley, 1 beef, 4 salt, 2 pepper, 1 bucket water, 2 corn, *potatoes
Chicken w/ Wild Rice- 2 steamed rices, 1 chicken, 4 salt, 2 pepper, 1 bucket water
(chowders use milk)
Chicken Corn Chowder- 4 corn, 1 chicken, 4 salt, 2 pepper, 1 milk, 1 bucket water
Port Hampshire Clam Chowder- 4 clams* (mineable like oyster pearls), 2 milk, 2 salt, 2 pepper, 1 bucket water

Mmmm, Port Hampshire Clam Chowder.......is that the red? or the white?
-
White I think. I was also musing how funny it would be to make oyster mining actually yeild oysters, and for the "mystery minerals" to wind up being the pearls.
As for crabmeat, I'd say make some giant blue-crab monster spawns nears a few coastlines and have them drop from the crabs themselves after you kill them. Now if only we could alter the scorpion with a different tail, paint him red and make the COLLOSAL RED LOBSTER!!!
That's like what, 2000 cloves of garlic and 60 buckets of water just for the sauce alone? :P

Meat pies....meat pies....*begins to twitch violently, remembering Halas 10 Lb. Meat Pies from Everquest*
Wrist...hurting...eyes..glazing over....the pain...
Seriously. I'm not sure whether this has ever been discussed but to make baking more profitable...what about stat food? A temporary boost to a base stat? It made a huge difference in EQ, making baking something with potential for a bit of profit rather than just rp-flavor crafting. (Flavor crafting. Hehe.)

This thread is making me hungry...*shakes fist at them playfully*
-
Mmmmm... clam chowder. I predict a statistically significant weight gain among Layo players, if this is implemented, due to sympathetic hunger.
