I wish this was open also to rangers, druids and orcs. Maybe half-giants, as thay're always smellin Englishman's blood. I mean seriously, I've been cut before, But I've never smelled my own blood, let alone of somebody's blood as far away as England.

Well if their bones are a prime ingredient in your bread, you'd probably develop a better nose to sniff them out, right?
-
Well that's useful, but we rangers get so few feats, and i'm so darn weak in-game xD
By the way, how does companion works here? Just standard?

nevermind, this lore database is like a wikipedia...

Please note the scent feat is only available to bear warriors.
Sometimes the feat is presented to other classes, but this a bug and please dont select the feat.

Slight correction: Bear Warriors (PrC) and Wemics (subrace) have access to the feat. All others hould not take it.

Note that it IS avaiable for rangers in pencil and paper...

But as with all such things, PnP is a loose basis for Layo. While the rules usually apply, you cannot drag out the PHB and say "Oh, but it works here, so I should be allowed to do it." Leanthar and the DM-team are the final authority - and the handbook is generally a good resource to determine what such limitations are.

There's a lot of things that work in PnP and not in NWN and/or Layonara. Some are due to limitations in the CRPG format, others are by design.
