Title: Planar travel = Death on Return
Post by: D Blaze on July 25, 2006, 01:02:23 PM: Ever since the Planes have been moved to a whole server all their own, travelling there is basically suicide, cuz returning to the portal still seems to trigger the spawn, at least in the case of the Arboreal Gate.

There is no time to prepare, there is hardly enough time to cast an invisibility if it is available, and the gate guardian has truee seeing anyhow, so you'll still die.

Perhaps the gates could be placed in some sort of antichamber, a whole little area all it's own that leads to the plane, and back up to the main area where the guardians are, this way, people will still have to fight to get to the gate, and when they get back, they have time to reprepare.

As it is now, it just isn't safe in any measure of the word.
