I am trying something a little different for my next quest series. It is going to be somewhat of a long running series so I would like to keep things pretty consistent as far as attendance goes.
So, what I would like to do is have anyone who wants to join up on this series, send me a PM and let me know why you should be there and what your availability is.
The only thing I will tell you regarding the series is one word: Toran.
Now, this does not mean that you have to be a follower of Toran to join up. If you hate Toran then PM me and tell me why. If you follow Toran then PM me and tell me that. If you could care less about Toran then PM me and tell me why. If you...well you get the picture. PM me if you want to join up.

Regnus
I am one of the players that is interested in a long running series and i would like to pm you with my thoughts on Toran and my relations to some Toranites.
How ever ,could you tell something about the times you aim to run this series please?
It doesnt seem to have any use if players from say Europe reply to your call if the series is run through the week on American or Ausy times .
With some information on times to expect to run this series , it would be easier to realise if the European players can commit themself to it .
Thanks in advance

Seconded!

he asked in his post for you to provide your availability with your pm about why you would like to be involved. That to me indicates that he has not yet picked a time and will be doing so from the common availability of those involved. I could be wrong though.

*re-reads the post, mutters about people being right, winks at Ice*
Stand corrected M'lady

PMd.
Im Uk time too. *grins, feeling lucky and rubbing hands together*

Vote for a Aussie evening time, well I can try!
If you do run a Toran series in Aussie times, then what I would like is... Undead hunters...
Toranites are a boon and a bane, but one thing Aeridnites and Toranites agree on is returning undead to the cycle.
-
People say they don't, that it's a lie, but the truth is that everyone loves Toran ;) *dodges the incoming rocks*
I hope Lucius can join this series, first non-CDQ Toran quest I've heard about.

Actually, all but maybe 1 or 2 of the PMs that I have received have been for Toran friendly characters. I figured I would receive more anti-Toran response.
I wanted to inform everyone that this series will not start until September so if you dont get a response for a while, don't fret. I will be getting back to you.

I would be interrested in this, but depends on time and day. (Stupid work)

I would like to see some quest series that are run in short ( 1 hour, or two at most ) frequent sessions (2-4 times a week). Shorter quests would be helpful to those of us with children, spouse, and a job.

Well, as we've spoke about it..and Michaelis's attendence is mandatory....my time availability whereby I can devote enough time for a quest is: (All times are EST)
Wednesday 7:00pm-12:00am
Friday 9:00pm-2:00am
Saturday 4:00pm-2:00am
Sunday 12:00pm-11:00pm

Saturdays starting 4.00PM sounds perfect.

I just submitted a pm, per your request, Regnus.
As for scheduling, ideal start times for me would be 19:00 or 19:30 gmt, which is 14:00 or 14:30 cst, my time zone; 12:30 cst is probably the earliest I could start, or 17:30 gmt. It is likely that I won't be able to attend quests that begin at night time, U.S. time. So assuming each quest will run at least two hours, if a quest starts later than 20:00 cst, I should opt out of it. This is pretty much the same regardless of the day of the week.
