Title: Corathite sect operating in Mistone
Post by: cbnicholson on August 07, 2006, 07:31:30 AM
a notice is placed on the wall:

Mine brother and sisters in Rofirein, I hath recieved a missive from Capt Duvall from Pranzis (a small bit of spittle can be seen in the margin here as Pranzis is crossed out roughly and Prantz written in) . He sendeth his apologies for the lateness of his missive but giveth direction to the faithful here in Hlint.  I quote: "In the meantime I am hoping to start investigating rumours of a Corathite sect operating in Mistone somewhere. That and gathering information on Drow activites as I am concerned about rumours of drow activities I have been hearing about."  Pray send any information to mineself and or to Capt Duvall as thee learn of it. My thanks and a small reward of 50 coin to all corraborated information recieved.

In a blocky, forced script is written the following:

If you seek knowledge, seek out those who seek out knowledge, for knowledge they have.

*Sallaron see the mention of drow and frowns, quickly scribbling a letter to Daniel*

Remember that Entrance to the Underdark we explored and found nothing? A week past, myself and others were passing by the same place when a group of Drow leapt on us. Could be worth investigating.

Daniel reads the replies and wonders what manner of quagmire he's stepped into.  "Blast and Bother, who be the grey circle? and keepers of knowledge?  Mine poor wool head, I knoweth not."  Spotting Sallaron's reply, Daniel smiles and says "aha, a lead worth pursuing" Mayhap I canst gather a group to investigate."

The Grey Circle is a group of misguided narowminded witch hunters. They dam all who would use necromancy or any magic they deem wrong, for the simple matter that they do not understand. If this group was so good meaning they would have no reasion to have gone undergroud, they would have nothing to hide.

*Brac'ar enters the inn and reads the note and mutters* "Rofireinites, they'd be better helping the populace with food now that there's no sunshine, instead of tracking a Corathite sect on a continent as large as Mistone." *Ordering some water and food from the innkeep, he goes up to his room.*
