Title: A question for those on Gel'ls CDQ
Post by: gilshem ironstone on August 07, 2006, 04:14:54 PM
I was just reading some posts and began wondering if the emotes I did during the singing ceremony could be construed as meta-gaming.  Just wanting to up my level of RP because LAyo rocks!

I would not say so, your character noticed what was going on around him and changed his singing to corespond with what he thought would help.

Thanks for the reply.  How would you balance a complex action between describing the action IC and communicating to a GM what you want the action to achieve?

I think you did a good job of RP'ing the intent of what you were doing.  A message thru the DM channel clarifing your intent may have made things clearer for both of us, but it was all good.

That is some good advice.  I will use the DM channel more to my advantage.  By the way, there was quite a bit of coincidence on that quest for me.  See, I am getting married on the 25th of August, and we have a theme for our wedding of LOVEBIRDS!  I thought that was pretty neat.
