Title: Server Maintenance - 9/14/2006

All game servers will be going down for about 2 hours tomorrow. I will be doing service pack updates, defrag and database maintenance on the game servers. I hope to have the servers up inside of two hours but it depends how things go on the database and updates side of things.
  The servers will be down from 9am PDT until about 11am PDT.

No, I don't think so. Dorganath is working on that side of things. He will let you know when those will happen (possibly tonight--at least that is what he is shooting for).

Stephen had a good idea so Dorganath took the extra time to flush things out a little more. During this maintenance time, that starts in two hours, you need to go ahead and update to 1.68. When the servers come back online they will all be running 1.68. You also need to take that time to download the hak and tlk file if you have not done so yet.

So...
1) Update to 1.68 when the maintenance begins
2) Download the hak and tlk file when the maintenance begins (Dorganath will have the downloads section updated and an annoucement)
3) Wait patiently *smiles while tapping foot* and we will get everything back up as soon as we can. :)

Servers are on their way back up now.

I ran in to a problem with the database on west so had to leave it just as it was when I brought things down. That does mean though that we are going to have to work through issue later on and it will not be an easy fix... so heads up that we will have to work with each other in the near future.... ALL things are fine now though so don't worry about things.
