When a pick breaks when mining and you switch to your backup pick, the first strike with the new pick is always "weapon ineffective".

That's probably because CNR rocks tend to switch to "plot" when struck by anything that's not a mining pick or when picks break to prevent exploits. The plot flag only stays set for a few seconds, but as a result sometimes this leads to funny things like that. It's "normal" and more problematic to address cleanly than it is to just accept it as is.

Gotcha, thanks. Thought it was something with the new update now since I had never seen that happen previously. I'll just wait a little longer to start swingin'.
