((OOC
My dwarven PC has been working ICly to set up a trip back to the Ulgrids to visit the temple of Vorax and make some donations. I am scheduling it for

If you have a Vorax PC, you should have already seen the post in the Vorax forum. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, then you need to add your name to this thread:
Vorax forum access request thread (http://thread-view.asp?tid=21831&posts=15&start=1)
Add your PC's name here if you think you can go. An IC posting (written in dwarven) will be made soon. Any followers of Vorax, even those not gifted with beards, would hear through the local NPC clergy about the trip.
Should we not have the strength to travel there, alternate arrangments will be made by myself. (Like going to the arena for some battle training.)
You must be a dwarf or a follower of Vorax to accompany us. Dwarves with deities at odds with Vorax may have some RP to do.
Hope to see you there!

how about an honorary dwarf who has led mulitple expeditions there for the younger followers of Vorax? And... who has no god?
-
// 2gmt (new layo time) is a bit too early for me - though I will try to "be there" a bit later
// Further - plz open your thread so others can sign up PnP
// PnP try to get Harg to accompany you. He is a Priest of Vorax
-
I think this time works for Harg.
Player event on calendar fixed to allow signups.
Home you can make it, even if late.
-
i should be able to make it...not sure, might be on time or 30 mins late.
-
// might make it late or meet the group there. The start time makes it 0500 for me and is a bit early.
-
Zug would love to be there, but I the player will be unavailable.
-
*bump* This is in 45 minutes
-
A huge thanks to PCs Hargranar Craggenhilt, Nossyla Steele, and Thorgist Frostgrip. The RP was consistently fantastic. Special thanks to GM mixafix for greeting us at our destination with an NPC.
I'd rate this adventure near or at the top of the list of my favorite NWN days.
-
Sorry I could not make it- I just finished work today.... :(
-
I'm scheduling another trip to Ulgrids. Which day this week works for you at 9am EST, 2pm GMT (by the forum clocks above)?
-
Grohin would be glad to go back to Ulgrid.
//Any day works fine at that hour (except today and probably this saturday)
-
I would love to join you any weekday.
-
Thursday @ 9am EST / 2pm GMT by the forum clocks. Meet in the Hlint smithy or nearby.

A mighty success! Thanks for all that came: Fenrir (our muscle), Grohin and Thorgist (our devout clerics of Vorax), Gilshem (honorable Dorand cleric), and finally... the ox (our beast of burden).
-
Just wanted to say thanks to the dwarves that have all come together over the past couple weeks for some great RP / combat adventures. I can honestly say that I have had more fun in the past month than over the past year. I look forward to much more!

Well, thanks to you PnP to bring us together.

When's the next one? And is there a possibility of it being later then 0700 for me? ;)
-
I'd like to schedule the next dwarf trip to Ulgrids for next Tuesday. 9am EST / 2pm GMT works for some of us, but others would prefer it to start a couple hours later. That in mind, perhaps there should be two trips, only one of which I could go on (though I could be there for the start). So...
Tuesday, Dec 12th -- Meet in Fort Velensk
Trip #1: 9am EST / 2pm GMT by the forum clocks
Trip #2: 1pm EST / 6pm GMT by the forum clocks
Trip #3: Is there a volunteer for an organizer of a later trip?
I think we'll start from Velensk to give us some more time up in the Berhagens from some explorations.
If this sounds good, I'll add them to the calendar.

Both 1 and 2 works for me
Grohin

6pm GMT by the forum clocks
Should be possible for me
-
I could do a trip after 4pm pacific time
-
Bugger... I can't do Tuesday's.
-
First post in thread updated with info and links to player events.
-
I will be there Tuesday morning.
-
*bump* Today's the day.

Only PC Grohin and my PC were available for the 9am trip, so we went to the Dire Woods. Thankfully Varka came on a bit later and helped us retrieve Grohin's grave. :-)
The second trip, which I could not go on but simply organized, was much better attended. I had asked PC Goldwin earlier (via tell) if he could help out and be the "muscle" should we need it. The adventurers set off with five dwarves (Kobal, Varka, Grohin, Thorgist, and Han) plus a token beardless human (Goldwin). I hear all went well.
Here is a screenshot of Thorgist leading us in prayer before the group set off. (The picture is from BlackCat's album.)

//Berdin has been out of the loop, but wants to join in on the next trip. I'll keep an eye on this thread and the vorax forum/event calander for the next trip.

A spontaneous trip to Ulgrids. Fun RP and a big thanks to Mixafix for dropping in and poking us with giants!
Dwarves along: Wanark, Fenrir, Beli, Grohin, Han, and Hargranar.
Here is a pic of Hargranar blessing Grohin's amulet.
