Title: Spontaneous casting for druids
Post by: trillex on December 04, 2006, 12:24:39 AM
I appear to be a bit of a spokes person for druids or maybe I'm just extremely bitchy ;)
Is it possible to put in a spontaneous casting system for druids as exists in NWN2?
Here is a bit of info:
  spontaneous casting
The special ability of a cleric to drop a prepared spell (but not a domain spell) to gain a cure or inflict spell of the same level or lower, or of a druid to drop a prepared spell to gain a summon nature's ally spell of the same level or lower. Since the substitution of spells occurs on the spur of the moment, clerics need not prepare their cure or inflict spells in advance, nor do druids need to prepare their summon nature's ally spells in advance.

No. It's a game mechanic and can't be changed with scripts.

Kind of ironic that Weeblie says it can't be done and then has a signature stating the opposite *grins*

Kirk had the source code. Without it, it would have been an unwinnable scenario even for him.
