Title: Central and West Down Tonight For Emergency Maintenance.

A curious storage bug has crept up due to the sheer number of furniture stored on the db.  A fix is ready but requires some time for me to implement on the running server.  To that end, I need to reset and then work on west and central at 4:30PM PST, 7:30PM EST, 12:30AM GMT  

The password will be changed at this time while I do the fixes for what I am hoping will only take an hour.

Updates will continue in this thread.

You can travel to east or planes if you wish.

Just a small Q is there a risk of losing our things with this fix?

It should be fine, worst comes to worst we wipe. :)

Nah, I'll ensure we backup before we run the fix script.  Hopefully this will correct the housing issues.

Alright folks, here's a quick update....
  Our initial tests to fix this have met with a few snags, so there will be a delay in bringing the servers back up. We are continuing to work on it and will have things running again as soon as possible.

West and Central are down again. We are working on an on-going issue with furniture in housing. We will get them back up as soon as possible but it could be some time.

You may still play on east and planes if you are over there already.

Sorry for the short notice but we had to take them down as an emergency.

Central is still unavailable due to the password.....Is the maintenance still ongoing?  Just looking for a status I guess.  Wow, I hope you guys haven't been working all night at it.

@Dorax, the central server seems to have the proper password on it... not sure why you can't log in right now. I have restarted that server to see if the problem is resolved.
