I keep reading this mentioned: IRC...

...at first I thought it was just a Chat thing so skipped it....but I'm hearing more and more about it being a useful tool to find info from other players.

What is it? Where is it?

also...if you just want to quickly  get on there was a link to a web based client to get in...

http://irc.layonara.com/cgi-bin/cgiirc/irc.cgi

Using that you can just log in fromyour browser.
