Title: An experiment of leavetaking.
Post by: Stephen_Zuckerman on March 05, 2007, 01:59:45 PM
So, for the next two days (that is, between the time I post this, and an hour or two before a quest I'm looking forward to), I'm going to be doing a little experiment.

I'm going to refrain from getting on Layonara at all, be it forums or in-game, the entire time.

And I'm going to see how productive I am in that time.

Heck, with all the time I spend here, who knows? I might cure cancer.

*Chuckles* He probably has another account to cruise the boards incognito... No, wait....that's me!

*Imagines Stephen right now huddled in the corner hugging his knees, rocking back and forth. The ticking of the second hand on the wall clock across the room is deafening.*

*Chuckles.* Apart from a few browser issues (system lag resulting in misclicks - no I didn't read anything), I did in fact stay away since then.

I've got a quest I'm attending today... Though I won't be on the boards terribly much, at least for the next couple of hours.

By the way, Jamie, get on XFire. Got some interesting plans for next new years to discuss.

How'd this work out?  I ask as it's not something I have the will for, so I need to live vicariously.

Good job.  I bet you can't do it again :)

But, I haven't read anything about the cure for cancer being found so was it really worth it?

Well, I got my room clean. That's a pretty impressive feat... Something like the Aegean stables.

How did I do it? Well, I turned on some music and I did other things than Layo. It was tough. I caught up on sleep, though.

One can not catch up on sleep. It is not possible.
