Title: Champion of Toran requirements - Closed
Post by: Skywatcher on March 26, 2007, 01:02:48 AM
LORE states that a CoT requires the feat Weapon Focus (longsword) but the in game mechanics allows Weapon Focus (any melee weapon) to satisfy the requirement.  This was confusing to me and may be to others.  This may be the case for other divine champions as well I don't know.

You need weapon focus in the deity's favourite weapon in order to qualify for champion of that deity. I think that in nwn the prestige class was simply champion of Torm with a changed name, and as such you can have weapon focus in any weapon.

Right.  So LORE is correct but the in game description does not match so the mechanics and description should be fixed to align with the intent and LORE.

Champion of Toran requires Weapon Focus (Longsword).

Champion of Vorax requires Weapon Focus (Battleaxe), Weapon Focus (Dwarven Waraxe), or Weapon Focus (Greataxe).
