So this isn't terribly original of me, but I always enjoy seeing what kind of music people are listening to. Tells you a lot about them.
Myself? At the moment, Elton John's Your Song, as performed by Ewan McGregor and Alessandro Safina in Moulin Rouge.
*Belts out, deafening Kindo* Anyways the thing is, what I really mean!!!!
-
I love classic rock. Elton John, Bily Joel, Bruce Springsteen, the Who, Pink Floyd, yadda yadda yadda.
I also have a soft spot for love songs :p . Anything that will make you feel good, although at the moment love songs kinda depress me :( . Long story as to why....
Mostly, though, I'll listen to anything good. Rap, hip hop, pop, metal, rock, orchestral. If I like the sound I listen.

I am currently listening to the Swedish rock star Joakim Thåström. A few of his CD's are rotating on Winamp at the moment, and the song Från himlen sänt is playing.
-
LOL thomas the tank engine theme song at the moment when the missus puts it on TV for Joshua (my son to watch) thats getting rather repetive and boaring at the moment ...
Nah R.E.M , Sting and the police great hit , Cold play , Snow patrol , U2 , Red Hot Chilly Pepers
just a few of the albums i have on my pc...
-
Thåssie (as I have affectionately dubbed him) is great. Old rocker, now when he makes appearances he sits there in his trucker cap and grimy farmer shirt, plunking his guitar and murmuring into the mic. (For those of you not in the know, the closest thing to the Swedish å in English would be a long 'o', though you sort of have to put another long 'a' at the end of it... :D
David Bowie, Wild is the Wind.
Edit: Haha, mumbles.. that was great.
And Shiff, love songs are meant to depress! Get that good ol' stabbing, burning feeling in the chest going..

Beethoven's Last Night, Trans Siberian Orchestra
-
Currently listening to "The Holloways - So this is Great Britian"
-
Deathstars - Cyanide

right now I'm obsessed with viking black metal mixed with celtic folk. Moonsorrow, Falkenbach, Fintroll, Hollenthon, Amon Amarth and the like. Naturally a bunch of Blind Guardian, Kamelot, Helloween, Hammerfall, Gamma Ray, Blue Oyster Cult, Stratovarius, Samael, Laibach, Rhapsody, Luca Turilli, W.A.S.P. etc make it to the playlist still. Visions of Atlantis sounds fairly interesting, going to soak that discography up at work today.
-
anything at the moment that i like, The Fray are pretty good i guess

A Switchfoot fan here...mixed with a little Disciple, 12 Stones, and Creed for good measure.

Louis Leerink performing Bran Bal, the Soulless Village on the piano.

Hahah! We kindle and char, and flame and ignite... we burn up the city, we're really a fright..
I got this great page from a magazine on my board.. it's an ad for butter, randomly enough, and it says *clears throat* :
"Most men don't understand that a woman's heart is like a deep ocean of secrets.
Pirates do.
Maybe that's why they're so sexy."
Haha! Arrr...
Terra's Theme, FFVI.

Drink up me Hearties Yo ho!

I have unplugged the speakers because the sounds upset the dogs. I dont get music nor the game sounds or even the annoying beeps and dings the computer makes.
LOL

At the moment, "Until We Say Goodbye" from Joe Satriani's album Engines of Creation. Been listening to Joe Satriani most of the night actually.
For songs that might make one "feel good", as an alternative to the usual love songs and such, I recommend Bryan Duncan's album Blue Skies, and the title track from said album, of course.
And in the time I've been typing this WMP has switched to Joe Satriani's "Crowd Chant" from the album Super Colossal. :D

I'd say one of my favorites is Puscifer, with a nice addition of a Wasteland by 10 Years **points to her siggy at the bottom**. Also love Sirenia, Nightwish, Linkin Park's slowly crawling back to my top lists (I didn't like them once after a near obsession with their music), hmm, hmm... Mostly the newer and darker stuff, although I do like 80s music as well. Currently though IDii's got me hooked on most of the metals.
-
Serenia....Nine Downfalls and a Destiny
-
Right now I have been listening to a lot of Nothingface and Machine Head. I love my metal.
-

Ohh..and lets not forget grooveradio (http://www.grooveradio.com) to get my bedonkedonk shakin! :D
-
Wooohoo Tool are great... they're the first band I heard and liked that led me to the whole alternative scene some good 8 years ago or so.
-
Almost any 80's metal, especially Maiden. As far as newer bands, StoneSour, Coheed and Cambria, Dirty Americans, Silvertide, things like that. And at the top of the list, the never popular, little know Warrior Soul! Rock on!
-
*list o' bands* :'}
3 Days Grace, 30 Seconds to Mars, AAR, AFI, Aiden, Alice In Chains, As I Lay Dying, Avenged Sevenfold, Blink 182, Cute is what we aim for, Death Cab for Cutie, Disturbed, Fall Out Boy, Gorillaz, Hellogoodbye, Incubus, Jimmy Eat World, Korn, Linkin Park, Metallica, MCR, P!ATD, Plain White Tees, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, 30 Seconds to Mars, Mudvayne, NiN P.O.D, Bullet for My Valentine, Evanescence, Within Temptation, Daughtry, Nickelback, Hence Reverie, HIM, Hawthrone Heights, Godsmack, Thousand-Foot Krunch, Johnny Cash (is a pimp), Senses Fail, Simple Plan, Slipknot, System of a Down, Used.
But thats only like half of the bands I listen to. And yeah I can almost name them in alphabetical order. :P
Right now I'm listening to Dani California - Red Hot Chilli Peppers
-
I feel so old.
-
Depends on the mood I guess. Before the gym, typically something like Tool. I do like their most recent album. But then I like all their work. Led Zepplin is still the greatest RB of all time. With bodybuilding, the music I listen to is overall, pretty intense.
I'm not so much into the commercial hip-hop and RnB that I hear constantly in my area. But other than that my musical tastes are pretty diverse - from Andre Bocelli to Andre Reau. Even Neil Diamond on a rare occasion :)
And ya, since I'm an 80's child, I love 80's music. And laugh if you will, but Thriller by MJ is still a good album.

If I didn't know how big you were, I probably would laugh. :)

'
Heh, I grew up as a 90's kid and MJ still remains a favorite :)
-
80's music is just... chill. Heh, you know how much of our slang was born in that era?
*Points at Shadowblaze, then points at her original Thriller record, which is older than she is* >:D
I had a dream I met David Bowie last night, actually.. we were talking about his (ex?)wife. :S Very bizarre.
Led Zeppelin, Babe, I'm gonna leave you
-
Good Charlotte's older style, Coldplay, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Travis, Kashmir (danish), Mew (danish), Led Zeppelin... I do enjoy rock, indie or alternative.
-
I'm listening to a lot of stuff lately.
Granola Funk Express, Cold Duck Complex, Orium, The Mars Volta, Iced Earth, Opeth, Sublime, Wes Montgomery, Yes, Voodoo Shock, The Smashing Pumpkins, Dragonforce, and Blind Guardian make up my current playlist.
I ripped the radio out of my car. Radio is pretty much dead to me. If you were in my position, and had two radio stations that claim to be rock yet only play Godsmack (On a side note, a band named Godsmack should be a better band), U2, and the same four Zeppelin songs. The rest are rap, pop, and other horrid music convulsions.

The Afters- Beautiful Love
-
Ah...I thought I would add some that I am currently listening to.
Come My Sweet .....by Medieval Baebes
Temptasyon ....same group
I like most of their stuff.
Dance Little Maiden...by Maria Sangiolo
Medieval Baebes - Discography (http://www.mediaevalbaebes.com/audio.html)

I've taken to listening to some morcheeba lately, especially when crafting IG...
I find it calming *grins* especially in light of the frustrations that can come with watching all the CNR I've spent hours gathering goes to waste as I spectacularly fail almost every role.
-
Meatloaf and The Rasmus.
-
The Knife, Royksöpp, NiN, Pendulum for electronic music.
Queens of the Stone Age, Radiohead and good ol' Metallica for rock
Burzum, Vintersorg, Opeth for some metal..
Some other stuff I don't remember, but give those a try. Good music...
-
"Never too Late" - Three Days Grace
-
America, Supertramp, Bob Marley, Bent, Beck, Calexico, Jose Gonzalez, Feist, Neil Young, Nick Drake, tiny bit of the Randy Watson Experience, a little bit of Yes, and a whole lot of TV On The Radio.
