Amon Blackfish was the only child of a middle class working family from the east side of Hlint. Amon's mother was involved in the local schools system for educating the town's youth. She volunteered to teach history and language on a part time basis at the local school. She was also heavily involved in the town's social network, and took to weaving and knitting with the local non-professional artisans group in town. Every other weekend, she (and a group of other mothers from town) would head to the market to sell their goods.

Amon's father was an administrator for the town's militia. Primarily he was responsible for making sure the town's militia was adequately supplied and did much of the contract work with neighboring town’s militia for shared defense. From time to time, he would run weapons and armor from town to town (all legal of course) in an effort to raise funds for the militia. On one particular trip to Fort Hope, his supply band was attacked by large number of zombies and shades while passing through The Broken Forest. Amon's father stood his ground while the others in his group made it to safety. He made a valiant stand, but was unable to fight off the threat, and perished in the attempt. His body was retrieved a few days later and burned in a nearby village to avoid the spreading of disease.

Amon was only 12 when his mother gave him the news the day after the tragedy. He was old enough to know that his father was not returning, and, as a result, retreated deeply into himself. He did not show signs of recovery for months. His mother was terribly worried about him, and, as a result, enlisted the help of the local clergy from the Temple of Aeridin. Amon was beyond reach for the first couple months and remained silent during daily sessions with the clergy. It was not until Amon overheard one of the Elder’s from the temple dispatch a group of Lightbringers to knock back a recent uprising of undead in nearby Grey Peaks. Amon’s anger finally came to the surface, and he stood up said “Make me a Lightbringer!. They shall pay for the murder of my father-- EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM !!!”

Thus began Amon’s recovery. It took almost a year before Amon’s anger was under control to the point that he could begin a formal apprenticeship with the temple. With his mother’s blessing and in time, Amon learned the futility of his desire for revenge. Instead, it was eclipsed by a disciplined and rational understanding of the cycle of life. All unnatural prolonging of life is an affront to the great cycle, and should be ended without prejudice.

Herein lies the account of Amon Blackfish and his crusade for The Great Cycle. All evil must be abolished from this world. Above all, the evil that extends 'life' beyond the grave. This is the accounting of Amon's quest to return these abominations to The Cycle.

Entry (Month 7, Day 15):
1. I Cleared the Gloomwoods of all undead.
2. Cleared the first floor of the Krandor crypts of undead.
3. Discovered that the Hlint crypts are now locked. This is very disturbing, since without the proper checks, the undead there will fester and grow out of control.

Entry (Month 7, Day 17):
1. Cleared the Gloomwoods of all undead.
2. Discovered a very vile creature in the Krandor crypts. It was able to call up a horse from the depths. I was able to dispatch this creature and I found an interesting key on this one. However, I could not continue. The light within me was faint. I will investigate this further after I recover.

Entry (Month 8, Day 4)
1. Cleared the Gloomwoods of all undead
2. I gathered a group of adventurers to help explore the Krandor crypts. We discovered a number of very disturbing and powerful denizens on the lower levels. By the grace of Aeridin we were able to send them back to The Cycle. However, one door remained barred to us. I sensed an extraordinary evil behind it, and will endeavor to determine its source.

Entry (Month 8, Day 17)
1. Cleared the Gloomwoods of all undead.
2. I joined up with a group of explorers to investigate the depths of the marshes just north of Fort Vehl. Jser, Michael, Taille were just a few of the valiant warriors to join the cause. After hordes of Trolls and Swamp Men, we came upon a ceremonial site that looked to be dedicated to the dead. A ruined temple lay near, that was very difficult to get into. We barely managed to get into the first area, and dispatch some vial creatures that looked like lizards. I sensed great evil further in, so we decided to come back later better prepared.

Entry (Month 9, Day 3)
1. Cleared the Gloomwoods of all undead.
2. Made a visit to the Raven's Trading Company. A nice man by the name of Storold was very helpful. I was able to get my hands on some Feldspar rings to help against the death magic sometimes used by the more nasty creatures of the dark.
3. I made a trip to one of the more vial crypts in the area named after an evil magician of some skill named Storan. I found within creatures of the dark that send waves of death before them. The new Feldspar rings saved my life. I was able to clear the first area and proceed down the hall with a key I found. Behind the keyed door were swarms of cloth bound abominations that had an area of fear around them. I stood strong, and vanquished all that moved. This was a good day for Aeridin. Once completed I discovered another locked (and trapped) door that I could not pass. I will need to come back with reinforcements to pass it.
