Title: Eschew Materials Question

Assuming any of my characters is fortunate enough to reach a level where they could take the Eschew Materials II feat, is it required or recommended that they have already taken Eschew Materials I?  Or does each feat work separately with just its own levels of spells (1-3, 4-6, etc).

Eschew I is required for Eschew II, and II is required for III.

You also need to remember that you need to be able to cast the highest circle of those spells you want to Eschew. So if you want to take Eschew II , you need both Eschew I and the abillity to cast circle 6 spells or higher.
