Title: If I lose one more strand....

I'm going to come and steal yours. You just wait... one day you'll wake up and it'll be gone. But I will be able to play in large groups and not crash, and all will be well in the world... for me.

The good with having a really bad comp, is when you're not crashing and just experiencing some wonderful...joyful...happy...lag, you can get some pretty bizarre screenshots of other characters. I should post some of mine.

Think I have Remiel who appears to be on top of a tree, two dwarves who were on opposite ends of the my screen and using their canteens appear to be square dancing together up about 20 feet in the air. Hmm, can't remember what else. Ah yes. I have a shot of an unknown elf's head peaking out of a silver dragon's belly even though they were technically 10 feet apart. Good times, good times.

Don't feel bad mate - I have two high end setups here and nwn crashes on both of them. In fact, using the latest drivers form Nvidia for nwn has given me nothing but pain. Unfortunately, my server and dev unit both need the latest driver series to operate correctly :(

Nemesis-64 - gf8800GT - horrible fps
ShadoDrake - gf6150 - horrible fps
Imp - ati9100igp - horrible fps
work - integratedposwitholddriver - great fps!

Anyone notice a pattern?

Too bad my department doesn't understand the "need" to check out framrates during lunch. hehe

Post by: MJZ on April 05, 2007, 11:04:53 AM: I personally can't wait to reassemble my "old" computer (that ran HL 2 smoothly). Laptops with this ridiculous Intel chipset were not meant to run games. -.-
