There are some areas on the servers that I truly believe everyone should see at least once in their playing time here on Layo.
One place, just from a history point of view, is Ozlo's tower (east server). Ozlo is the dragon that called everyone to fight Bloodstone during V2. Haven't seen it? Hire a Stormcrest guide to get you there.
After travelling the new V3 version of Firesteep (central server), that is a place you have to see just for the stunning vistas.
The towns of Hurm, Lor, North Point, and Willow's Weep, just to name a few, are also worth screenshots. Looking for something to do? How about a "tavern crawl" across Dregar.
Thanks to the V3 area makers. I am quite glad I did not try to lend my unskilled hand to this effort.

Yeah, I hear a lot of people praising the look of Firesteep. One day I might even see it, myself. There is so much landmass that I still haven't explored.

Agreed. I love how the new uphill textures make it feel like you're truly climbing this mountain forever and ever. The old NWN standard "stairs and plateaus" pales in comparison. Farros is truly honored to have died violently this past weekend on such a majestic summit.

*grins* and you weren't even really far into the mountain at that.
But Firesteep give you a true feeling of a mountain. It's a gorgeous place.
