Well the November crash that totaled ShadoFax, my first motorcycle, was a rather painful defeat. Having not owned anything but motorcycles for about 4 years it was an odd experience to own and drive a truck. Luckily, I've shaken that off now and got my new bike! woo-double-hoo.
Here is my old bike, ShadoFax (rip) - first picture.
And my new bike, aptly named Balrog, is the second pic.
It's been a long struggle to get a new bike, but one I'm glad to see come through :)

Never liked motor bikes, can't carry many passangers. I passed my driving test about two monthish ago, and drive my mum's car. But congrats on your new bike, looks pretty cool!

Meh I'd have a Honda shadow myself if it was not for spring, fall and winter here in Quebec. the licenses and plates are so much expensive that it's not really worth it to be able to ride for 3 to 4 months tops. My brother in law has one and I just love the feel when I ride it last summer.

One of my friends has this shirt that says if you can read this your eyeballs are upside down *laughs* but I am going to assume that what you are talking about is something difforant. *shrugs* I just love bikes they are so awsome. And the speed. There is no better rush.

Speed! Its great. Fastest I've gone was in my Old Egale Talon. 260km/h

that is crazy fast *laughs* but so much fun. WHen you get on an open stretch of road and no one is around and you can just GO! No need for the Brake *giggles*

Oh, it was near rush hour on the 400 highway here in Ontario.
Thats around 166mph for you Imperial Standard people.

*is counting the seconds to riding his bike off the lot in less than 18 hours.* Darn bike prep! :)
Oh, and should anyone be near the San Dimas california area and interested in a ride, I'll consider it for a bit of cheese!

Speed limit? 100kmph, roughly 60mph
It was fun!

Just remember, speed limits are the minimum velocity limit allowed on any given road. :)
Go below the limit, and you'll get honked at hehe.

just keep the rubber side down fatherchaos. That new bike is whole lot more bike then your old one, get to know it a bit before seeing what it can do :) sagley advice from a rider that has been there. Remember there are two kinds of riders.

*laughs at himself* this is coming from a guy that blew by a CHP at just over 140MPH on his last big ride (two weeks ago).

Heh, no worries on my end. I'm close to "veteran" status as a biker - even have taken the MST course (motorcycle safety training).
I'll probably spend about a week getting used to the new abilities of the rocket strapped between my legs :)

The bike rolled safely into my driveway last night. And safely back out to cruise to work.
Ahh, the familiar feeling of motorcycle-break in. I want to gun it and rush ahead and remember that I unfortunately need to keep my tach pegged at under 3k rpm . . . ;)
