Title: Trap Kits, anyone?

I can't seem to figure out what I'm doing wrong with the trap kits I find in loot.
My lvl 10 Rogue can't use them, so I'm wondering if there is something i'm missing, I tried looking it up on the forums and LORE but I couldn't find.. If anyone knows  please link me or explain. Thanks.

Do you have any points in Set Trap? :)  (Dumb question, I know, but always a good starter.)

Are they identified? Nother stupid question but when troubleshooting be thorough.

What kind of trap kits are they?  Minor, strong, deadly?  They have different levels of set trap DCs as I remember and you may not be able to set them if it's not high enough, or I could be totally wrong on this too.

Most are minor and average.

When you say can't use, do you mean that, they show as red to you or something else?
