Ok, I REALLY don't think where this should be, so I put it here. Dm's, please, ut it elsewhere if needed.
Does anyone here likes that kind of Gaia avatar, of the Dream Avatar Creator? I like to make them, and I'm used to make them with the help of my little-good-for-everything-photoshop. Anyone else?
Just for fun, does anyone wants your character to be made? If anyone wants it, just PM me with the char name, something little about him ("he is a wizard in blue robes" is great) and a good screenshot. I promise I'll make it, and it will be very cute.
They look like this image here, that I made of the characters of the D&D group that I'm DM.
Edit: Save the image to your computer and give it a zoom to see the details.

The original images are tiny little... They are avatars, after all...

But even avatars aren't 4 millimeters tall.... I mean, these guys look like blips, I can't make out anymore detail than pointy things sticking out that I assume are swords.
I might be interested if I could make out what they looked like.

apparently, I'm retarded for trying to save the pic to my desktop and use a viewer. just clicking on the attachment worked, PnP.
These are kinda nifty now that I can see them fully, heh.

I would like not only a screenshot, but a little something about the character would be good. For example, the wand on the hand of Valeron, in the pic I posted, I put there because I know that the char uses many wands.
If the person says something about the char I can be creative!

I dont have a pic hadny since she hasnt been officialyl created yet, but heres quick description of what shes gonna look like.
Pink Hair- long
Fair COmplexion
Human (1/4 elf)
Occupation: Ranger/ Wizard- she likes the bow and her 2 swords (katana)
Personality: likes to get into trouble and turn her uncle dalans beard grey (hes a dwarf), shes a bit nuts, but in good way. O.o

Nah but if you join Gaia you can actually customize your character and make gold. Its really time consuming and you have to post on the forums and deal with a lot of weird people though
I used to have an account there , and had pretty old stuff. I just sold it all to get people to draw for me.
I give them pixelated gold and they give me art...pretty good deal. I had over a million..I'm down to 380 from buying all the art..
That said you can get people on there to draw your avatars or your layo chars or anything for the right amount. Truthfully, its how I bribed my friend into drawing Rhynn and Ozy.

His current description:
This slender man moves with a lithe grace, weapons, tools and pouches hanging from his belt making little sound as he steps along. Usually wearing a calm, friendly expression, his cold blue eyes sparkle with some inner mirth, and are touched at the corners by the finest of lines, belieing his otherwise youthful appearance. A small, simple beach conch hangs from a cord around his neck, but the unnatural streak of white following from behind his right ear to the end of his shoulder-length black hair draws your eye.

I saw these character you draw and I like them. So here is one or two character you can work on for me if you like.
one idea is for a character I play with on layo.
her name is Sonya Darsus and she is the wife of Rain Darsus. to give you an idea of who I'm talking about.
Sonya is a full human woman who loves magic. she is also a follower of Lucinda.
The second character idea is for sonya's daughter.
her name is Sarah Tamara Darsus.
she is not created yet.
She has long white hair.
She has Voilet eyes.
3\\4 human and 1\\4 elf.
she will most likely me a rogue/wizard. and she is friends with abigail firesteed. you already drawn her.
what more can I say. oh right she just got a new friend. a little dragon that hatched. it will be most likely a pseudodragon.

She's a rogue/fighter/shadowdancer who now has a child (You can thank Hawklen for that one!).
Her current ingame description is:
The woman before you is a terrible beauty. She is of small stature, short and slight, yet not slender in any vulnerable way. In fact, her body is powerfully built, and any bulk muscle is hidden under predatory grace. Her nose is aquiline, her teeth white and straight, and jet black hair as dark as night's sky frames an angular, almost wolf-like face. Emerald eyes, reflecting all they see, survey the area in front of her, and they sparkle with a hidden mischief that is almost uncharacteristic of her first impression of mystery.
Despite her cruel features and shadowed figure, she seems cheerful. Her appearance is warmed by her grin and her laughter, and she seems at ease with those in her company.
Several times, however, she looks over her shoulder, as if she is being watched by a malicious force none else can see, and all the while, her shadow moves out of time with her with a life of its own.

As I said in the pm here you got more info about sonya inculding an image attached.
as seen in the image:
Sonya got black half long hair
hazel eyes, tending to be a bit rediz.
you can pick on of the 3 outfits I got in the image.
personaly I like the centre one with the spider paws. This one reminds me of sonya's nercomacier past. yes she was one but only because she grew up near a graveyard and her dad worked there.

Nasty scar on his throat, due to a regretful accident in Hurm tavern, though it is well hidden by his beard.
Beard is breaded with silver lace.
OH.... and he has a thing for Pixies.
hmm.. and him being in the desert is for a reason.... sand. Most of the time you can see him crossing Hempstead leaving a trail of sand...

Now, first, I want to apologize to the people who asked for me to make the sd avatars of their characters. I could not do it.
I am really sorry about this and the delay and all, but I had some troubles (or better, little free time) this other week, and only created most of them today by early morning (Now is 8:39 am here in Brazil, and I'm creating then since 7:00 am), but then, they are here.

Ok, this is very likely a foolish question, and I ask in advance for forgiveness, but what does "SD" stand for and could someone point me at the pop-culture reference where they came from?
Seems like every one knows about them and loves them, but I have no clue about their point of origin.

SD = Super Deformed, Its an Anime-ish style of drawings in which the head and face and eyes are even bigger than normal, and in which the whole body takes up about three "heads" meaning, the size of the head three times...
A bobble head is a good Americanized example.
