*looks to the Aussies and grins*
:D
Good game!
-
I could see this post coming ....
Never let it be said that we Aussies are sore losers .... BUT *grins* I would have loved to have watched that game at a neutral venue.
We have worked out how to nullify your game plan now and next time there just might not be those couple of lucky kicks to get you out of trouble. But, congratulations and great to see the Boks continue their long standing tradition of peaking at completely the wrong time!
:)
-
*chuckles*
Yes yes, we will see about the peaking part.
But at least I get to say we have beaten Aus till the 7 August.
And I wont call that peaking, rather a wake up call *winks*.
But no team can afford to have 60% possession and make so many small mistakes in the World Cup.
But that is still....mmm....82 days away. Lots of time to fix that.
-
We let you guys win.
Dah.

*Pseudonym returns from the Bledisloe where he was just seated to the largest Maori gentleman he has ever seen and was unable to display any sign of smugness until now.*
Nice of Aragwen to start this thread!
Let's do the math. They beat you. We beat them. It's all coming together.

Good game!
*looks to the South African and grins*
:D
Good game!
-
*grumbles* if only the coach send our first team.
Oh well, you won fair and square, had high hopes at 17-0 but then a game is 80 mins :)
-
@Pseudonym *after reading the score results*
26-12
New Zealand win. *shifts a little in his chair and smiles slightly*
We beat the Aussies. Is it the Bledisloe cup that we won? I think it was... :)
-
Well....yes you win the Tri-Nations title for the third straight year and kept the Bledisloe Cup in New Zealand for the sixth year in a row.
Well, I will keep quiet now.
:) at least till the World Cup kicks off in France.
-
Yep, let's also hope the refereeing is somewhat more impartial come September.
Not saying it would have made enough of a difference to change the result but come on, patriotism aside, there were some dodgy calls made there.
Up for another Layo-benefiting wager Aragwen?? I'm not sure you can afford to support your beloved Boks for much longer! :)
-
Hah, off course I am happy to wager on the Boks again. :D

T'was a a dark weekend indeed.
There i was, glued in front of the TV with a few tins and a bottle of scotch for a full 6-7hours. If I could buy some sort of medical device to drain the ole bladder without having to get up to the bathroom I'd say thats money well spent.
First it was the ruby. I was upset but I thought, "Well, I'm more interested in the soccer" and uttered a prayer to the almighty.
Then the soccer tore it out of me. I think I held my breath the whole game, only to let it go, accented by some unpleasant swearing. I think I lost all my fingernails, took four years off my life and invented a new swear word.
Anyway well done to the kiwi's and the japanesse. I hated both you guys for approximately 2-3 hrs until my heart rate returned to normal, then realised you both played fantastic games!
-
Not a good day for England! Thawolloped by Aragwen's boys in the rugby 36-0 and then Kambomboozled by the Aussies in the Twenty20.
Life is good. :)
-
*Laughs* You know what that means right!
We will face Australia in the final if they can get pass the All Blacks :D
Sorry for you, but we have the high road to the final, worst we can face is Argentina I guess. Way worse for you guys.
However seeing that you mention cricket, I would have to mention the loss to Zimbabwe!! Yes, no typo there, Zimbabwe *Chuckles*.
-
Tough road for the Aussies? Bah! We're just getting rid of some weeds that are in our path for the trophey.
As for the cricket...do I hear 1, no it's 2..actually its three...a hat-trick for Lee.
