Title: A coupel of questions
Post by: Black Raven on July 08, 2007, 06:46:47 AM
So, I have no idea if this goes here, or in "Ask a Gamemaster" or even in some other forum so if it does, mod's feel free to move.

1. Is there any way to find out the correct numbering of colors for hair/skin/tattoo colors? I know theres a way, I just haven't figured it out.

2. Any free, easy, light softwares that open .tga files quickly? anything beside photoshop or Photosnap please.

IrfanView - Official Homepage - one of the most popular viewers worldwide (http://www.irfanview.com)

This should do the trick

GIMP - The GNU Image Manipulation Program (http://www.gimp.org/)

I like this program a lot, others find it a bit clunky for certain tasks. It's free though, and can definitely open and edit targas, and also save them as other formats.

Thanks a bunch for the answers, guys.

Is there anyone who might have any solutions for the first though?

Numbering in what sense?  The hex values?

Uh...hex? sorry, maybe I wasnt clear before. I ment the correct number of the colors in the toolset/Leto for each table of colors (hair color table, skin table etc etc).

For example, the basic skin color (normal human color) is in the first row and first in order, so its number is 1 I believe. Again, I am not 100% sure.
