I checked and double checked the teifling subrace, started as human basic race, and when I completed the character it said 'invalid subrace' and shot me back to human!
If someone can either wipe the char for me to try again or just change the subrace for me, that'd be brill.
thanks!

Create the character again with a slight variation in name , for example placing a (.) at the end or two spaces between the names.
Make sure you spell tiefling correctly or the game won't recognize it.. (spelled wrong above)
post in the "Approved Characters" - Characters for Deletion with the appropriate information and the messed up character will be deleted

yeah, "tiefling" is spelled the German way... that is, the pronounced vowel follows the silent vowel.

Well, and the English way:
"I before E except after C, or said with an A as in 'neighbour' or 'weigh'. Unless it's weird."

Except all those examples are dipthongs.

Ah the english language, where you need a poem to know how to spell
-
The current English language anyways. Originally, English, and German were very similar (grammatically, English is a Germanic language). However, English has been subject to years of conquests, mingling with other cultures, and eventually becoming the world's trade language. Now English is very grammatically simplified and is stuffed full of exotic words complete with spellings and use that defy a standard set of grammatical rules.

Well, what do you expect of a language with Germanic roots which borrows from Yiddish, Sanscrit, and Latin with equal facility?
