Ok, so I know some items that are dropped which have their properties screwed up (ie. dusts and some items such as the utility belt) can be fixed by putting them on your oxen - but how do you fix the Courier's Keeper? As it itself is a container it cant be loaded on... any tricks?
Thanks guys/gals.

Grab a GM in-game and they can replace this item for you.
Type 'Hello? Anyone around?' (or your version thereof) on the DM channel every so often and you'll catch someone sooner or later! I'll be on as GM in about 3 hours from this post as a worst-case if you're still around.
Cheers!

You actually can put a couriers keeper on an ox to fix it...
Make sure the couriers keeper needing fixing is empty
Put it in ox pack
Before keeper returns to inventory, close the ox pack
Put pack back on ox
Take pack off ox
Open pack, take out 'new' couriers keeper

I have tried the ox thing with multiple Keepers and never had it work... I bet I have trashed at least ten of them in game...
I would love for it to work but at least for me it doesn't.

Merlin, the trick is that you have to place the box/bag on another item that is in your ox pack. It makes the program think about it long enough for you to be able to close the window.

Umm.... *coughs politely* Putting a container on the ox, even to fix it, is still technically an exploit and a way to carry more things that you should be able to.
I have been talked to before by a DM on the IRC channel for mentioning this idea to someone.
So my advice to you:
Just find a DM, it might take a 'slight' bit more in time, but you won't get in trouble for it.

Not true, anything in the bag will automatically be removed from the bag, therefore no extra storage. There is no exploit.

Well, it was taken very seriously when I mentioned it, so maybe this was taken care of to prevent it since then, but still.. just giving warning, better to be safe than sorry.
