Title: Cute holiday pics of the Kids
Post by: DMOE on August 27, 2007, 04:36:14 PM: As promised here are cute pics of the kids from the holiday...

They got to meet Thomas the Tank Engine and stand on the footplate which pretty much made their day. The guy stood behind them is the train driver.

Post by: DMOE on August 27, 2007, 04:44:22 PM: Well we surprised them by not telling them my parents were going with us so we arrived at the campsite and they realised Grandma and Granddad were in the caravan just across the way....From there onwards we could pretty much could do no wrong :)

They got to swim in the sea, meet Thomas, spend lots of time with their Grandparents and we got time on our own!!!

Until the weather turned bad and we came back early it was great!

Basically he is the main character in some story books a father wrote for his son that then developed into a tv series and now they have a steam engine made up to look like the character that tours various steam lines and museums around the country so that kids can go 'meet' him.
