Title: Call for Healers
Post by: Dalila on September 12, 2007, 12:45:41 PM
I would like to attempt a ritual to remove a curse of silence place on Clarissa.  To do this I need three other powerful healers to assist me.  If you are willing to help with this please let me know.

*Rose comes up and adds another note*
Since this curse was put on by a mage, I believe the assistance of a few powerfull mages would help as well.  They would need to be able to cast the Remove Curse spell.  Thanks for your assistance.

Rhynn Strikes out the previous text that said something about wanting payment.

Strike that, I'll do it for free since Storold is getting the scroll. Though, I ask that you remember this for the future. I may need help soon.

*Muir wonders past and reads the notice, her slight smirk turning into a smile, laughing softly to herself she speaks softly as she walks away*

I wonder if it has ever occurred to them that not everyone will consider it a curse and some may consider it a blessing

Added to the bottom of Muir's post:

I think I called it "Learning Experiance"

 Dear Rose and Clarissa,

Heartily, I answer the call to assist. The curse must be removed with meticulousness and I am keen to assist however, I too will need a scroll.

Futhermore, With the scroll, I will happily set up the ritual for you. I've had some experiance in curses that had to do with the hindering or loss of the ability to speak.

Rhynn walks away, muttering something about 'neccesary procedures' and 'further favors'

I appreciate everyone's offer's to help.  Let me see what we have so far.

Clerics
Rose
Sala

Mages
Storold
Rhynn
Omer
Sabrissia

I can probably get Ortheus from the temple in Haungjin to help but we will have to perform the ritual there.

Rhynn, if you would set up the ritual I would appreciate it. This being an arcane curse I am a bit out of my element.  Thanks.

//I would like to try to do this on Saturday around 4pm PDT if everyone can make it.  Please let me know if this will work.

That includes you Chongo since this is your curse.

You are welcome Rose. I can not garantee that this will work; as the methods of cursing were different. However, the ritual I am preparing worked to remove the curse of a high classed Devil, so it should It should suffice.

If Possible , I would also like to be provided with the exact circumstances of said curse. Thank you

~Rhynn

(//4PDT is bad for me. 2PDT would work, 3PDT would work as well, If those aren't possible I can make 4...I just wont be able to stick around as long))

*he walks by the notice, and after catching sight of it, he reads over the noticies and posting*

"So...  Clarissa's curses is gonna get lifted...  That's good, but darn..."

*he grins a bit to himself*

"I thought it was funny..."

*he scribbles on the bottom of Rose's notice*

Good luck, Rose.
Be sure to find me if you need to transfer the curses on to someone else.  I'm sure no one will mind.
Shiff  ;)

Toran be praised.  He has looked down on his servant and broken the vile curse placed on her even as she is abandoned by those so called experts in the weave.  Toran's power is once again proven sufficient for all her needs.  To those who were willing to help, you have my thanks but the All Watching has seen fit to bless me and has restored my voice.

You weren't abbandoned, I gave you a choise where we could help you, however you choose to have faith in your diety and it seems that this faith have removed the curse from you. If taking the path I suggested would work I can't tell but highly likely it would.

Storold,
If abandoning my beloved Toran is the price for your aid then it is too high a cost.  He proved his faithfulness to me.  I can't say that about your Lady who continues to seem fickle and arbitrary in her application of her gifts.

In that case you might want to ask yourself why Toran didn't cure you of this curse before since obiously he was capable of it. It would have saved you a lot of trouble and so forth, I see your showing the blame over at Lucinda as an attempt to deny the fact that you weren't cured before after you denied leaving Toran over being cured by us.

Toran will do what he will in his time.  He was obviously testing me and teaching me to rely on him alone and not to trust in the unreliable.  Yes he was able to cure me at any point and it was my weakness to not trust in that from the start.  I was not intending on "blaming" anyone as the fault is entirely my own for wavering in my trust in Toran but through this he has shown me that he is faithful even when I waver and my trust in him is stronger now than before.  I have learned that I need not rely on the unreliable moods of the Lady of magic, a lesson I shall not soon forget.
