Title: Anticipation for final episode

Here in Australia, tonight we see the airing of the final episode of The Sopranos.

:(

Got me to thinking, I cannot recall a similar anticipation such as this for the final episode of any other TV shows ... in my adulthood anyways.

Not even for Seinfeld.

Maybe Family Ties or MASH when I was a younger man.

Any thoughts on another show that had you waiting with baited breath it's final episode?

I never watched the show becouse it was on a cable channle we had to pay extra for.  But now a it is being showed on a free cable channle.  So I am on season 3.

Are you guys thinking about the right episode?
I wasn't aware of it being screened so much earlier elsewhere.

Anyway I watched it like the mad Soprano's fan that I am.
I blame Mario Puzo for getting me hooked on this type of genre stemming from the godfather many many moons ago.

it ended in the states last season feb i think

i stopped watching it a few years ago but i know it was a while ago with the hype of the final episode
