Agreed.  When I bought my new computer about half a year ago, I booted it up with Vista, played a few games, the response time was terrible, then I opened the taskmanager and saw the huge chunk of RAM being allocated to the various spyware an commercial programs.  uninstalled it immediately and went back to my 5 year old copy of XP.  I won't switch back until absolutely every last game manufacturer abandons XP, then I'll go pull that copy of Vista off my partition.

One thing I love about my roommate's Mac is that they designed it so tiny, it's all contained in the LCD monitor.  Sometimes our DVD player acts up and doesnt read some netflix rentals, so he just picks up his computer, brings it downstairs, plugs it in, and boom, there's a multimedia station.

Also, ever notice that to play a DVD on windows, you need to go buy or pirate some DVD player program?  Macs you just pop in a DVD, and it... plays it.  Windows would have you imagine that this was too difficult to add to their OS for free... with about 3gb of advertising included.
