A question regarding a somewhat specific combination of circumstances popped to mind after a recent quest.
Are sea elves (http://lore.layonara.com/Sea%20Elf) immune to water elemental drown pulse (http://lore.layonara.com/Pulse%2C%20Water%20Elemental%20Drown)? There are listed as being immune to drown (http://lore.layonara.com/Drown).

I believe they are, but now that I think about it, I'm not entirely sure. If we get a definite answer, I'll make sure the LORE descript of sea elves is explicitely correct.

You could always find a Sea Elf character and... "arrange" to have drown cast in her vicinity. Hehehehe. :D

I'm 98% certain they are immune to the water elemental drown ability.
If I recall correctly, it has previously been posted as a bug that they were not... a bug that were corrected shortly afterwards. :)
Well, if they are not... it's most likely a bug! :p

Her vicinity? ;)
Not sure if this (http://forums.layonara.com/fixed-bugs/97146-sea-elf-bug.html) is saying drown pulse attack has been fixed or not:
Fixed in next update. Drown spell was fixed. Pulse Drown Unique Ability was not.

You should grab a GM in game and test this in the arena to know for certain. While they may be immune to the *spell* drown, Sometimes similar immunities dont work correctly when the "spell" is cast via monstrous special abilities. For example, I think Kobal lost a Soul Strand once while immune to death attacks when struck by a death ray special ability effect. Since I do not believe many sea elf characters have yet to encounter a larger water elemental, it is possible that this particular combo has not yet been tested. Only one way to know for certain. ;)
