Nagash Von Ritter told me about this server, and I'm always on the lookout for proper role-playing opportunities that aren't always focused on combat alone so I thought I'd get in and have a look-see.
Just thought I'd say hi, as seems to be the trend.

Hey! Welcome to Layonara. :) I see that Nagash's gotten over his initial disheartening, to be inviting more players over. Good to hear.
It's pretty tough, getting started here; I'll be the first to admit that. Acquaint yourself with LORE (http://lore.layonara.com), and you'll have an easier time of it, though.
Any questions, you can ask here, shoot them to me in a PM, or, well, I suppose you could PM a random other member, too. *Chuckles.*

Yep... only problem could be that the rabdom memeber isn't active anymore ;)

Thanks guys.
I'm just coming up with my character now, I know just what I want but writing a decent background/bio is taking time. I'm a little more used to freeform text based RP than writing just an extensive bio - I usually make my characters up while I play them, developing the personality and background alongside eachother so it's prolly gonna take me a while to get things going.

Welcome. The bios are just for a baseline. So don't feel like you have to define everything about the character up front. Change and growth are expected. Most characters out there are very different than when they entered the world.

Thanks ^^ I've been trying to work out a character for hours, still am working on it though. At least the specifics are asked, no one's said 'make it better' and not given specifics of what's needed to make it better.
