This morning, during Shadow's riddles quest, my computer's keyboard port died, making my keyboard fail to recognize several characters... It was suggested I reboot, but... Well... When I did, I couldn't log on to Windows. @.@
So, now I have a new, wireless keyboard (that's horribly difficult to type on, as it's a standard layout, not the ergonomic goodness I'm used to) and mouse, which I'll be using until I can find my standard-to-USB adapter, and continue the use of my lovely, corded ergonomic keyboard.
So, my apologies to Mix, with whom I was trying to close a deal, and to Shadow and the questers, with whom I was trying to solve puzzles. Hope everything went alright anyhow.

Noooooo, not a wireless keyboard!!! :)
I hate those, as I do wireless mice, I ran out of batteries at crucial moments so I tossed them out.

I agree with you on that mark... Staying in batteries is something I just can't manage to do.
When can you get on to complete the transacton? :)

Actually, I love my wireless keyboard/mouse. I have two pairs of rechargeble batteries for my mouse, one pair is allways loading and the other one... guess what... yep, it's in the mouse.
Early enough my mouse-wheel starts to blink red when the batteries are slowly running low on energy and I have enough time to exchange the m :)
And for the keyboard... I don't even remember when I changed batteries, but it is really long ago... month...or years... or even decades? ...Centuries?!
*hugs his keyboard*

I do like the forward/back buttons on the mouse... Honestly, if the scroll wheel weren't so stiff to click, I'd love the mouse a whole lot. It's this keyboard! I've been typing on a contoured ergonomic keyboard much like this (http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/mouseandkeyboard/images/products/nek4k/mk_otherviews_nek4k_02.jpg) (only much more simple and less expensive) for years, and I've gotten used to it. Honestly, it's the reason I haven't taken up writing on my laptop. ;)

ahh the split keys for each hand
i do most of my work on my laptop but i wont go anywhere laptop or desktop without my intellipoint track mouse
its usb and has four buttons scroll wheel which is smooth as silk
but the part i love most is the trackball under the thumb means you dont have to move the mouse at all your thumb moves the optical ball

It's not as much the split keys as the contoured shape... It's higher in the middle than the outside. That keyboard is the reason my carpal tunnel (or at the very least, repetitive motion syndrome) hasn't acted up in ages.

I forgive you, man.

Thank you, Eight-Bit.
