"On Wednesday evening, February 20th, the full Moon over the Americas will turn a delightful shade of red and possibly turquoise, too. It's a total lunar eclipse—the last one until Dec. 2010."
Read the full NASA - Total Lunar Eclipse (http://science.nasa.gov/headlines/y2008/13feb_lunareclipse.htm) article for more info.
To everyone who has the time and a camera, let's try and take pictures to post in our gallery for the non-Americas people to see as they're sort-of left out of the full experience.
:)
Edit: minor corrections to last paragraph.

I'll try :)

Friendly reminder begins in just under 2 hours. The night is supposed to be perfect for this event up here in Toronto. Happy skywatching.

This is soo perfect. It's my wife's Birthday today and we are going to watch the Eclipse for her birthday. Not everyone can say they get that as a present for their birthday *grins*

It has surpassed the 50% mark!
Edit: Also, my ability to view is sparse because of cloud coverage (at least three layers of clouds covering 75% or more of the sky)
