Title: funny shiny boots

Hello,

I applied on my old Ronus green boots a lesser fire resistance. I wish to remove the red light aura that doesn't to hide in shadows. It isn't possible with the black onyx device as I can't put my boots in it. Is there any tricks to do that?

Unfortunately, you'll need a DM's help for this. They're undroppable, so you'll need a DM to either pull the item from you and do the whole zap-thing (if that's possible), or one will have to destroy your boots and make some new ones, with the property added (but no light).

Whatever way they can fix it, it'll take a DM. If you have points in Use Magic Device, I'd advise seeking out someone with Boots of the Sun Soul.

Twice thanks for your suggestion, not only I bought Boots of the Sun Soul but event best they are of the second circle. ;)

The Black Onyx dealie is supposed to be in some shady temple, I remember.
