Description: Was in some of the new areas on Central, specifically the Glittering Isles, and used my Unit Flag of Might to try and help the fight. It seemed to only affect one person though, and I thought it was supposed to Help out all those nearby, hence it being a Unit Flag of Might, and not a Individuals Flag of Might ;)
Location: Anywhere, I guess.
Verified: Skywatcher/Clarissa mentioned to me he noticed the same thing
Reproducable: Just grab a flag, or I can of course help demonstrate.

This is most likely the same sort of bug that effects Storm of Vengeance from working properly during high moments of lag. If the server is processing too much, the heartbeat will not be as effective. I may be wrong but I don't think anything has changed with the functionality of the flag.
-
Nope, nothing has changed in the flag's function, but as orth said, it can get unfortunately delayed and appear to not function properly under high lag conditions. And it has a finite radius, so if you step outside of that radius, the benefits don't apply.
-
Well just wanted to mention it, just in case, and would love to just test it with a DM around just in case... In fact I could do that right now if you wanted to help and/or watch, Orth
EDIT: Is there a way to test the Radius? so one could know the Optimal range? Seems Dorg got the answer before I finished my post :)

Wait for a pulse, move outward a bit, wait for another, move outward a bit, repeat as necessary.
-
Heh, alright... Guess this thread is unnecessary then. Thanks
-
Only the person closest to the flag gets the benefits. This has been reported and discussed at great lengths previously.
-
So thats not a bug, but a decision? Has it always been that way?
-
It is the way the flag works and always has worked.
-
OK, actually with osXmallards help, it seems there is actually a bug, and it seems one that has been in there for a long time, though I'm unsure how or when.
Thanks for the report.
-
Yer Welcome. I wish I could help you fix it :)

I forgot to update this post. I found the bug and fixed the code shortly after this was reported. If it's not working already (possible) it should be by the next update, whenever that is.
