Make sure to "accidentally" lose your cellphone too.  I HATE it when bosses wind up assuming that just because you CAN be reached 24/7, that they should keep calling you 24/7 to do extra work on your offtime.  They even call during vacations that they themselves scheduled and ask people to come back in for them... so annoying.

So yeah, destroy all forms of outside communication and have a good time!

I just tell them that I cannot be reached, unless it is urgent (and discuss before you go on what could potentially happen that would warrant a call).

Vacation is vacation, and if you're only gone for a week, the company is still going to be there a week later.
