Title: Forum-Checker?

Well, I was musing over memories of threads past, and I remembered Darkstorme's "How Addicted to Layo are you?" poll. As much as I loved him for that, it really got me thinking on one point...

One of the options was "I wrote a chron script to check the forums and beep when there was a new post."

As you've likely guessed at this point, I was wondering if there was any way to do that. *Laughs helplessly.* Gods, I'm terrible. But serious.

Because, honestly, I'm not up for the surgery that a neural implant would take. @.@

Well, the RSS doesn't have EVERY SINGLE post possibly available. Far as I can tell, it may only list things that unapproved users can see...

Whatever the case, it doesn't seem complete, and I'm not sure how often it updates.
