Why is it that when a fighter beats someone up for money we call them a mercenary, but when a rogue beats someone up for money we call them a thug?
Inquiring minds want to know!

*grins* What made you think of this?

Well, when a wizard beats up someone for money, it's called 'UNBALANCED!' ~^
Clerics, it really depends on the deity. Rofies can get away with calling it Justice. Corathites... well, you'd have to find their secret lair.

I don't know the answer to this question but probably for the same unfair reason that the fighters always get preference with buffs and they always get allowed to loot without attracting distrusting looks. Discrimination I tells ya!
When a rogue beats someone up they get called ... well, i'll let you know the day I manage it and someone is there to witness and comment.
-
the answer probably lays in the way they do it ;)
A fighter will beat them up facing them first , a rogue will probably attack from the rear :p
As for wizards ...they are unable to beat any-one up if you strip them from their spells ;)

When a druid beats someone up they are called an environmental activist.
