I have just realized that my character Scias Maratha who is half elven does not have an ear for elven speech. I was wondering if this was normal or perhaps just a bug due to the race. He was raised till about his teenage years with his elven mother (if you wanted to know alittle about his BIO).

Was he approved for the elf ear in the original submission? Half-elves do not automatically get the elf ear, so no, it's not a bug. If not originally requested and approved, then the ear needs to be requested in the Character Submissions forum.

Hmm come to think about it no I did not specifically request an elven ear.. Alright I'll edit his char submission thread and request he have an elven ear

As Dorg said, you'll have to request it separately in the Character Submissions forum, rather than editing your old submission. He wasn't approved with the elven ear, so it has to be a separate request.
