Hi, I need a bit of technical help.
Does NWN keep logs of combat/chat by default. If it does how can i extract them ? I didn't change any options from default settings, except some video/controls. Logs I need happened about 15 mins ago, and I am still in game/on server. If it doesn't is there any way to track what happened, maybe from server logs ?
It is of critical importance to me, as altho i did make mistake of not checking, I was affected by bug when i died and lost soul strand.
Any help is appreciated.

NWN does not log by default. You have to modify a file in your game directory to enable logging.
Directions for it and taking screen shots are HERE (http://forums.layonara.com/disputes-grievances-request-reimbursements/107557-burden-proof-suggestions.html)along with information on the Gnomish Log rotator which is invaluable for people who forget to save their log files when exiting the game.

Thanks just read it.
Only option for me now is to enable wholechatlogging in nwnplayer.ini. I did that right now while still in game, will it work once i exit (I'm still on server), or will it work only when i start NWN next time ?

One way to see is to open the log file while you're in game and see if there is something in it , but I think won't start until next time .
If you do have something there - remember to rename it and save it before starting up again or it will be over written.

It seems NWN needs to be restarted for it to work, as expected. I guess that kills last bit of hope for my character.
Thanks for helping, and this fast too
