Of the places yet to be set into the LORE section; which are of magical historical interest?
I assume from the maps that Spellgard (going by the name entirely) might have some connection to powerfull mages or articifiers!
Any clues would be helpfull! I have a cunning plan captain blackadder :)

Spellguard is the City of Magic and Center of the Lucindite faith on Mistone (and probably all of Layonara).

There are many places of magical significance. It's difficult to list them all without narrowing it down some. What are you looking for?
Spellgard is a major one, yes, city-wise... it has the arcane tower and is led by the Lucindite faith as mentioned. So "love of magic" would be an appropriate descriptor rather than merely "powerful magic."

'Love of Magic' fits the bill admirably! I was looking for anywhere that magic is highly valued in day to day life, a place that little is out of the ordinary.
I just had a character in the noodle, a gnome character since I havnt played a gnome in the thirteen years Ive been playing D&D games :D
Stereotypical gnomish illusionist of course :S
Im just trying to pick up tidbits of info here and there since the LORE section is still in the process of being updated. And then In a few weeks/months when I get bored Ill write up a background for him/her (undecided as of now).
Thanks for the replies folks: if you have anything more regarding places of interest, gnomes, turnips e.t.c. feel free to leave anything that might be relevent or leave me a PM telling me where Ive overlooked it!

Any place where gnomes call home or anything that gives them cultural identity?
Ive seen a lot of people complaining about how gnomes speak very hyper and are generally eccentric and although Ive see nothing wrong with stereotypical is there something that defines gnomes apart from speakingasentencelikeitsaword?
I want to try and add a gnome or two to Layonara as they seem like a very neglected race :(

For Deep Gnomes, there is Stone. :)
