[SIZE=16]Hempstead is certainly not like Hurm.
I walked the street's hidden a time... but it was not long before a huge bulk of a man followed me.
I was him coming of course, right after I had completed a rather undesirable task within the city sewers....[/SIZE]

[SIZE=16]... I hurried down a side alley to get away from him, rapier drawn.. but he appeared from behind me.
He knocked aside my blade as though it were a stick and just laughed mockingly at me before he moved on.
I fear I will see him again someday.
A few days later... a unusual coincidence occured.
Fort Vehl.. a place where anyone who is anything is free to roam.
I met one by the fountain.. and was instantly suspicious of her idle chit-chat ... but we talked awhile.
An hour later.. another arrived, more out-spoken than the first... but I sensed some trick or ploy against me.
I should not have been so suspicious. They were both as I ... demon tainted.
I am still suspicious of them... but we ventured into a nearby troubled crypt... and they were as good as their word.
Each uses a weapon such as mine, though none it seem's has the particular skill I am looking for.
My shield is too cumbersome. I need it to avoid blows yes... but I have both seen and heard of ways to be so agile on the feet and lithe in the body, that the cumbersome chunk of metal is no longer required.
For the moment.. I will forsake any further studies of the Al'noth into honing and learning of this skill.[/SIZE]
