Title: Out of comission until saturday at the least.
Post by: Hellblazer on March 04, 2009, 11:21:23 AM: I've been hit by the worst virus I have ever seen. In its voracity it has managed to infect 90% of my files, including the music I was working on. All of that in the time of a virus scan, that wasn,t able to stop it or identify it. I am left with the only option of a total wipe. Wish means I will be out of game until I can reinstall every thing. I might just get my new gear at the same time, but that is not something I had planned to do this month... Any how see you this saturday, I hope.

Let's hope you can get rid of it without deleting all of your files :O

Not of everything unfortunatly. I lost about 200 hours of ork due to a shortage of dvd to back my things up last week.

Eh after the virus scan the computer shut down with a message of going into protection mode. When I rebooted it, even the windows logon wasn't loading. Then when it finally did, the task manager it self would not be allowed to work because it was infected. I had to go into safe mode to try and make a back up of somethings, without sucess. My virus scanner couldn't even identify the sucker. All it was sending me was trojan for this file, trojan for that file, dataminer for this, for that on every file it was showing. On 550 000 or so file files scanned, 490 000 were infected. what would normaly take 45 minute to do a deep scan, took 4 hours and a half.

Lmao..man. I needed a good laugh with that and my work day.
