Parry-Mode
Description:
According to LORE [LORE]http://lore.layonara.com/Parry[/LORE] the skill 'Parry’ has an equal amount of parries per round as attacks of the fencer and can make a riposte attack at full AB every time I successfully parry an incoming blow.
Together with akata I tested this out. Phyress was attacking and Angela was in parry mode. Both have 4 attacks/round so Angela should be able to parry each incoming attack easily; her parry is 70+.
The log shows that I manage to hit her on the second attack (AB 26) and she does not even roll to parry it, whereas it should, according to LORE and NWN.
Also Angela does not start counterattacks with her highest AB all the time. According to LORE and NWN she should. Her AB for this fight was 39. Sometimes she hit Phyress with 34, or lower.

Akata and I can also provide more screenshots and / or logs if they are required.
I did a quick research and it seems like the guys over at nwnwiki found something similar out about parry. Parry - Neverwinter Nights Wiki - NWNWiki (http://nwn.wikia.com/wiki/Parry) According to them it was changed from the pre-release and the handbooks were not updated properly.

Currently Parry is working as intended in the sense that it always has worked this way in vanilla NWN. It was spotted during the very release of NWN and is hardly an unknown bug. Whether it was intended and uncharted by Bioware or it is a bug, Parry currently (afaik) works as stated on Parry: - Neverwinter Nights Wiki - NWNWiki (http://nwn.wikia.com/wiki/Parry:)
Parry can only deflect the first attack in each of the three flurries in a round (for example, parrying an opponent with 5 attacks per round will only attempt to block the first, third, and fifth attacks). Furthermore, counterattacks (also called ripostes) are included in the number of attacks that may be deflected (for example, a deflection and riposte use two of the three attacks per round limit).
Riposte attacks are made with the character's normal (descending) attack bonus, not at full bonus each time. Thus if a character has an attack schedule of +16/+11/+6 and successfully ripostes two attacks, the riposte attacks will be at +16 then +11, not at +16 each time.
In my opinion it's current working method is honest in the sense that a parrying movement is as much of an action as an attack part of a flurry is. Whether it is fixable and should be fixed, I'll leave it to the big kahunas.

Maybe so, but that is not how lore describes it, and thus her request.
- Check: The difficulty class is the modified attack roll of the incoming blow. A successful parry means that the attack does not damage the parrying character. A character may only parry a number of attacks per round equal to the number of attacks per round available to the character.
- Special: Wearing armor may incur a penalty to the roll. If the parry is successful and the difference between the roll and the DC is ten points or greater, a counterattack occurs. A counterattack is a free attack made by the parrying character, at his full attack bonus, against the parried opponent.
- Use: Select the Parry mode. The character will remain in parry mode until the mode is exited.
There is nothing that states what you have mentioned. Thus the appearance of a bug.

LORE's information is based from NWN's stock info, not a 3rd party source.
To my knowledge, we haven't made any adjustments to Parry that would motivate our info on LORE to deviate from NWN's info. If there's any "bug" here it is one of documentation, and I should likely move this thread so it can be handled appropriately.

So, am I understanding correctly, that without getting terribly technical, the line could accurately be changed to read "A character may only parry a number of attacks per round equal to the number of attacks per round available to the character, up to a maximum of three" ?
-
Or
"A character may only parry a number of attacks per round equal to the number of attacks per round available to the character, up to a maximum of three, jumping one attack in between. Example attack 1, 3, 5."

# Check: The difficulty class is the modified attack roll of the incoming blow. A successful parry means that the attack does not damage the parrying character. A character may only parry the first attack in each of the three flurries in a round.
# Special: Wearing armor may incur a penalty to the roll. If the parry is successful and the difference between the roll and the DC is ten points or greater, a counterattack occurs. A counterattack is a free attack made by the parrying character, at his normal attack bonus following his attack schedule, against the parried opponent.
That'd do.
