Hi,
I want to know if the number of attacks per round your character has when they reach level 20 is locked, so that any subsequent levels after 20 your number of atacks will always be the same (ie, at lvl 20 a wizard has 2 attacks/round, so does that mean that same character as a lvl 40 wizard would still have only 2 attacks?)?
Thank for any help on this

Only way to increase the maximum number of attacks is to take two weapon fighting and improved to weapon fighting. With both feat you will add two extra attacks to any class. Hence if you would go and take it with your wizard. As soon as he would have taken both feat and of level 12 and over, he would have four attacks, only if he was wielding two weapons or staff or two bladed sword/maul/axe/scimitar.

or you can be a monster since they seem to get a lot of attacks per round :)

Another alternative for a Wizard is to take Rapid Shot (bow feat) that gives an extra attack per round at the cost of a small attack roll penalty (-2 I think). Tends to work best for Elven wizards so you don't need to burn a feat to get the weapon proficiency. Works best if you also have point blank shot, or use a bow of close range ;)

good points....thank you

The most attacks you can get is if you have a Fighter/Monk armed with two Kamas. Then you can get up to 10 attacks around.

Actually, I'm pretty sure there's a way you can get 11 with divine power. That might be in default NWN without our spell changes though. Never tried. But that's beside the point a good ways.
:)
It started in NWN 2 where it progresses past 20 (http://nwn2.wikia.com/wiki/Kaze_no_Kama_-_M%2811%29,F%2812%29,IB%285%29,DC%282%29).

11 attacks per round... ok... that's insane!! :D
