Description: After a reboot, Jade's home in Rondora Lake is not populating correctly. She leaves her door open to give friends of Folian a place to rest while tending to the forests. When she or anybody else comes through the front door, the furniture does not show up. The only way she can get the furniture to show is to use the key while inside.
Location: 215 Rondora Lake
Verified:
Reproducable: Yes.

Do you mean "open" or "unlocked"?
-
she means unlocked
it's the same thing that happens in teh weary traverler and the orc bashers.
Close your door, lock it unlock it, and the furniture will reload.
-
Or just 'use' your house-key inside the house.
-
That wont wok for those that don't have the house key, nor the usual trick either for that matter.
-
Actually what happens in the Orc Bashers and Weary Traveller is a different thing.
In any case, I'll just state that I'm aware of this, but have yet to get it to happen in testing, so there's something about lag or some other factor that's causing it to fail.

I am not sure if this is fine for me to post this here. just wanted to make clear the situation with the Orcbasher shop. It correctly repopulates if the door that is open is the one in the area of the tribute To Allurial ( which is by defaut, the front door of the building )
I don't know about the weary traveler inn.
If this is post is out of place, please tell me so, and I'll delete it or if you need to do it , please go ahead.
-
No it's fine, and that's correct. There is only one locked door per house that can manage the furniture loading and other functions. The "public" door is unlocked and does not manage things like loading furniture and such.
-
that's what i was saying, by accessing the locked door option screen, you activate the loading process, for both the orc bashers and the weary traverlers. But for a house, the only thing I know is to close the door lock unlock it, or use the key inside of the house.
-
Have you try... knocking on the door instead of just closing and opening the door. I believe it has been changed. And you need to knock on the door to make the furniture spawn inside the house.
-
This is still not working properly. The reason Jade bought this house was so that others would have a place to rest and give thanks to Folian. The only way I can get the furniture to populate is by using the key inside. I was hoping it would populate when someone opens the door. Someone other than Jade.
Is there anything I can do?
-
leave a spare key in a box, entitled " To repopulate the house only, put it back there once you are done."
-
Nice idea, but the house is empty until it get's repopulated. There are no boxes.
-
As owner of the house, you can still block out areas with "furniture walls" that only you have the ability to turn or destroy. Perhaps just create some keys and pass them out to all who might use the house?
It's cumbersome, but workable??
-
Thanks for everyone's help. I've placed a quest chest outside the house with a key in it so that anyone can reset the house.
GM's let me know if this violates any policies.
-
The quest chest is not persistent, so it'll be gone when the module and/or server resets.
-
Shoot. Ok, thanks.
-
For the next update, I've put in another possible place for the furniture to load in the whole scheme of things. Hopefully it will make this all a bit more reliable and not cause duplicates.
-
Looks like this was one of the things the latest update tried to fix. However, in the case of this house, it does not appear to have fixed it.
-
I'd like to add to this, that my house (206 castle mask, Fehriel house) has also stopped populating with opening the front door, after a server reset. His door is always locked on the other hand, so it should be reloading correctly.
