Title: Multiclassing question

I have been thinking of Chakar's future, and I would like to take more fighter levels (he has 6 fighter levels as of now, pre-20th level).
I have been thinking of taking these after level 30.

Do I need to train as and with a fighter classed PC in order to obtain this possibility, and to re-submit a character bio or updates to his bio?

I have not been keeping a CDT for him besides a will he made at 20th level.

If Chakar already has Fighter levels, was approved for the Fighter class and there are no issues with free multi-classing, they you can take Fighter levels whenever you wish.
